The Greater Saint Louis Association of Earth Science Clubs Inc..

The Association was formed in 1988 and it held its first board meeting in January of 1989. The Association is made of six member clubs and the purpose of the Association is to:

          1. Promote the interest in Geology and the Lapidary Art                            
          2. Encourage the collecting and display of rocks, minerals, fossils and gems.
          3. Encourage field trips of Geological, Mineralogical, Paleontology or
             Lapidary nature.
          4. Encourage a greater interest and education in minerals, fossils and gems
